I want this dress!! and that necklace and those skirts and .....The met is fabulous for creating a jewelery line based off paintings from antiquity. But most times when people use paintings to make fabric its the same starry starry night knock off one after another. I would love to create (or purchase) a clothing line which is straight out of the fine arts world. Not the same three paintings xeroxed to hell, but lesser known works used as real inspiration for wearable stunning dresses and accessories.
